Most well-known for her role on the soap opera Guiding Light and as Marina Cooper on the soap opera Guiding Light and Marcy Bender on Dawson's Creek. The actress was featured in two episodes of the Showtime series Weeds starring Mary Louise Parker. Her roles included Judy Kramer as a Fox 2005 program Point Pleasant, and Marcy playing a character on Dawson's Creek. She played Marina Cooper for three years in Guiding Light as well as in Guiding Light, a character that earned her the award in 2003 for the Soap Op Digest nomination as Outstanding Newcomer. Dollar was a part of ABC's Women's Murder Club as Cindy Thomas between 2007 between 2007 and the year 2008. Dollar starred as Happy Valley, a pilot for NBC in 2012. The show was never picked up.
